Two little words are turning the heads of consumers. It’s not “fat free” or “lose weight.” These two little words are “free gas.” Here’s a list of companies offering free gas to customers who purchase qualifying items.
1. Sears. Nothing says Happy Father’s Day like gas and pants. Purchase $100 worth of Dockers men’s apparel and you’ll receive a $75 gas card when you fill out a rebate form and send it in. (http://www.sears.com/) Shop soon, the deadline is June 15th.
2. Hasbro. Hasbro is calling this promotion “Fuel Your Summer Fun”. Buy three qualifying games like Scrabble and Life. (http://www.hasbro.com) Then you must download a form, send it in and they’ll give you $10 in free gas.
3. Callaway. With qualifying golf clubs Callaway is offering up to $100 in free gas. (http://www.sportsauthority.com) You must fill out a rebate form and send it in. Be sure to include your receipt.
4. Hertz. Free gas sounds especially good when you’re renting a car. For a limited time Hertz will give you a free tank of gas with a three day car rental. (http://leisure.travelocity.com/Promotions/) You must be renting the car by June 30th.
5. Expedia. The travel site is offering customers a free $50 gas card when you book a three night stay at qualifying hotels by June 15th. (http://www.expedia.com/daily/promos/ You must also pay with your MasterCard in order to get the free fuel.
6. Hotels.com. Book a three night stay on the site and you’ll get $50 in free gas. (http://www.hotels.com/gas50); Reservations must be made by July 6th.
