Top 10 Comic Book Movies

by Nathan on June 29, 2007

Recently at RottenTomatoes, they had a very interesting segment that sparks this blog post. So what are the top comic book movies off all time and how would an intelligent user rate the top ten? To make sure the ratings are given an average, aggregate rating I’ll use a combination of RottenTomatoes (Professional and Semi-Professional Critics), IMDB (User Ratings) and MetaCritic (Professional Critics) to ensure that the ratings are average from various sites and from thousands of different sources. This list is subject to change to the new upcoming films such as “The Dark Knight,” (I Love Batman!) and Iron Man and more. Here are the best comic book movies of all time.

1. Spider-Man 2 (2004) – Mean Average: 85/100

2. Superman (1978) – Mean Averag: 84.6/100

3. Superman II (1980) – Mean Average: 83.6/100

4. Batman Begins (2005) – Mean Average: 79/100

5. Spider-Man (2002) – Mean Average: 79/100
