M400 Moller Skycar the Flying Car We Were Promised

Moller International’s M400 Skycar is an obtuse and awkward looking fly car – but it works. Vertical landing and take off is what the SkyCar can provide – something that your Civic lacks. Founded by Paul Moller a retired UC Davis professor, the Moller SkyCar debuts in production in 2010.

The visionary thing is that Paul Moller envisions the Skycar being able to purchased by anybody who has $60-80k, after the initial demand. That is an epic price that most people can afford. No longer will we have to purchase BMW’s at the height of our careers.

But now the Skycar is selling for roughly $500,000 and there is a waiting list. Yet the Discovery Channel’s MythBusters has reported that more than $200 million have gone into the overall development of the Skycar.

M400 Skycar Features:

  • 360 mph Top Speed
  • Travel distances to 750 miles
  • Manufacturer: Moller
  • Two Models: 4 Passenger and a 6 passenger
